Its Not Easy Being Green

Mission accomplished. My CSS Reboot appears to have come off with only a couple minor problems. Those seem to be worked out now and hopefully all is well at wilshire|one. Behold in all its glory, “Leafy Green Goodness.”

I like this alot more than I liked the last design :).

Not at all what I expected.

Good job.

Only one thing, class the buttons so that they don’t appear indented but rather embossed?

The leafy green goodness is great! While I liked the old design, this design is very nice too. I’m diggin’ the sidebar headers, as well as the comment form.

I like it. However, an option for larger text via a style switcher could be just what the doctor ordered. On 1152×864 it’s a wee bit small.

But, the entire composition, the different use of the diagonals, and the colors are all fantastic. I’m jealous you got your gravatars working. I had to toss the idea out last minute when I couldn’t get it working quite right. Eventually though.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it. Pete, I’ve thought of including that and never ended up having time but I’d like to add that soon. And gravatars were very easy to get working using the glx_gravatar plugin.

Thank you all again for the kind words.

This looks really nice. How did you get it to say, “Welcome back Brian?”

I really like how your comment form is working, and the site is so muc more organized. Looks great!

Looks good. Thanks for all you do with your super archive plugin. I’ve used it on quite a few sites now. I’ve been meaning to redo my own site, but knew I couldn’t make a May 1st deadline.

By the way, how do you make it so that people’s email addresses do not display, other than just having them enter a URL for their homepage of course. :)

1. May 2005

Brian – This is done by using the czg_if_comment_cookies plugin to customize the comment form for new and returning visitors.

Nathan – There’s an option in lib/admin_config.php called “never_display_email” that is set to false by default. Just set that equal to true and the email addresses will not be displayed.
