rss_suparchive for Textpattern 1.0 RC3
Hot on the heels of Textpattern 1.0 RC3 I’ve released version 0.9 of the rss_suparchive plugin.
In addition to updates necessary to run under 1.0 RC3, some minor bug fixes that have come up over the past couple months have been incorporated. The only functionality that was added is a new offset attribute that allows you to list articles while skipping x number of articles from the beginning of the listing.
Thanks to Andrea for helping me get started on the changes.
Obviously I haven’t had too much time to test things out so let me know if you see anything odd.

i’m using
txp:rss_suparchive section=”article” dateformat=”Y” subdatesep=” :: ” showsubdate=”1” subdateformat=”F j” showcats=”0”
and the subdatesep isn’t displaying the way it used to
the output shows up like this:
February 5my thoughts exactly
instead of
February 5 :: my thoughts exactly
It doesn’t seem happy about the extra spaces between the ” ” .. is there some other way to do this?

Where do we get the new version of Textpattern and has there been many bugs discovered yet ? I might wait a few weeks after it has been released to see which bugs surface. But can someone point to the right location to get the newest version.

lex – Don’t know why that happened. If you change the leading space to use the ascii code (& nbsp;) it should work like it used to.
Thomas – The instructions for RC3 are in this announcement at the Textpattern Forum. Of course there are some bugs but they’re actively being fixed.
Andrea – glad to hear it.
