Gone Cruisin'
Its been a long year with no vacation to speak of so last week had been long awaited. We headed out on the Star Princess for a 7 night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Here’s where we were each day.
- Fort Lauderdale
- At Sea
- San Juan
- St. Thomas
- Tortola
- At Sea
- Nassau, Bahamas
- Fort Lauderdale
And if you’re wondering where the Star Princess is at this very moment, you can check here on the Bridge Cam.
Overall the trip was tremendous. But honestly, what can possibly be bad about sandy beaches, cheap shopping and all the food you can eat 24 hours a day? St. Thomas was our favorite stop…the combination of beautiful beaches with great duty free shops made for a great day. Its too bad that we didn’t have longer to stay in each port becuase there was so much more that we could have done.
San Juan and Tortola weren’t far behind. San Juan is more of a bustling city than anywhere else we went with great history and palm trees mixed in with the urban surroundings. Tortola was a much quieter, laid back island with friendly locals and serene beaches. And Nassau, well, if you’ve ever been there you know all about it. There’s not much to say unless you’re really into hair braiding.
I’m still in the process of getting my 150+ pictures whipped into to shape but you’re sure to see some of those soon.
