Having a Mint
I finally got around to buying and installing Mint on this site after hearing rave reviews about it for months. So all I’m trying to do here is generate some traffic so I can start watching the numbers.
If you’re a Mint user and have some favorite “peppers” (Mint plugins) that I should check out, comment away…

Make sure to get the downloads pepper and the one that tracks outclicks. Very good ones. Also, freshview is pretty slick as well, mapping traffic with an SVG graph.

Thanks Nathan! All 3 are installed. For me, the downloads pepper is most interesting so I can keep an eye on plugin downloads.

I’ve read the same raves, and am installing it for the first time also.
Hope our installs go well, and thanks to Nathan for the recommendations.

My favorite at the moment is Sparks!, which generates sparkline graphs of traffic over time. There’s a “trends” one that I love, too, which adds two panels—comparing internal popularity of pages from day to day, and comparing external traffic sources (search engines, direct links, etc.).

As well as FreshView and Trends, I also have Session Tracker, which shows the routes visitors are taking.

Thanks all. I added Sparks!, Session Tracker and Trends to the mix. Mint is shaping up to be a spectacular way to to waste away productive working hours!

The recommendations come very close to my setup, so not much to add here. But since it hasn’t been mentioned yet, as a web developer you shouldn’t miss “Window Width” from the official peppers list on haveamint.com.
