CSS Reboot One Month Later

One month has come and gone since the latest CSS Reboot but it seems like November 1 was much longer than a month ago. The mad rush to get both Favorable Designs and Robert Sable Consulting rebooted in time for the big launch left me with a long to do list of things to catch up on. Luckily I have a handy new tool to help me remember things (aside from my milk) but I’ll save that for another post.

All in all, I think my questions about the reboot voting have answered themselves over time. The best designs have indeed floated to the top of the rankings. Overall scores have even increased as the month has gone on.

I’ve been pretty happy with the response I received from both of the sites. Favorable Designs has led to several Textpattern plugins in waiting. And
Robert Sable Consulting has consistently hung around the first page of the reboot listings when sorted from high ranking to low. At one point, it was inexplicably ranked #1.

Numero Uno on the reboot

By the time the next reboot comes around next spring I’m bound to find another site in need of a face lift. Hopefully the event will continue to grow and provide more great examples standards based designs.

3. December 2005

You’re right, Nov 1st does seem like forever ago. Now that November’s passed, I’ll have to put some other button to replace the CSS Reboot one on my site. I’m not sure if I’ve said it here before, so I’ll say it now – I really appreciate all the plugins you write. The db backup / restore has got me out of a jam a few times, when making silly TXP config mistakes.
